The food is very good and have been here multiple times. Found out today that this was their last day before they close and new owners are taking over.
I've never been a fan of Greek food but Moukassa has changed my mind. And, I recommend choosing your dessert first as the pastry chef is beyond fabulous. Parking can be a challenge so maybe try a later lunch or early dinner. We are still grieving the recent passing of Niles who created this magnificent restaurant. Her partner and her mom are doing a great job. I encourage you to stop in and enjoy their creations.
Such a great restaurant. Food and service are excellent. Michelin would never bother to come down to San Leandro to try them out. I've been to plenty of Michelin starred restaurants and they are not at their level. Shout out to their great house made pastries.
A nice local Mediterranean style restaurant with good food, very friendly service and inviting atmosphere. Mediterranean is often used to describe a wide range of regional cuisines. Moussaka has interesting and delicious variations on dishes we have had before. We ordered the Manti Turkish dumplings in a very good yogurt sauce and the Roasted Dolmades baked in a tomato sauce which was delicious but could have used additional spices.
