Lonnie is straight up mechanic. Goes out of his way to help you. Non franchise. Two transmission jobs and very pleased.
6 months to "fix" my Volvo. Lonnie told me he couldn't get the parts, so I got them for him. 6 months later, calls to tell me it's done. Didn't use any of my premium parts (forgot they were in the car). Broke a power steering hoses in the process. Took it back twice in a month to get the transmission sorted out. After an additional $1k to another shop to repair what he broke, the transmission still doesn't shift correctly.
The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly and fixed my transmission in a timely manner.

I do not see how this place is so highly rated, unless people believe everything their told. I took my vehicle in there for repair, I was told by the owner that I needed a new transmission at $4,000.00 and only a 6 month warranty to go with it. Went and got a second opinion and it turned out I only had a loose wire ($75.00) not needing a new transmission. So be smart people.
