Newly diagnosed with a cancerous mass in my chest's anterior mediastinum, one week ago I personally delivered my cardiologist's referral and copy of the CT Angiogram report on this chest mass to Dr Dow's office. My provider, Mayra Torres Posadas, is fantastic. I can tell she cares a lot about her patients and she always makes sure to have answers to my questions. If this review was just about her, it would be 5 stars. However - her receptionist is the most hostile, argumentative, and unprofessional receptionist I've ever met at a doctor's office. The first doctor we saw never officially diagnosed us with any conditions despite testing going awful, but the nurses were very understanding and helpful and sent us to another doctor (Ahmed Elwidaa) and he is very wonderful, very direct and straight to the point. Everyone has been so wonderful to work with and I finally feel like medical help for my conditions is possible when every other doctor has turned away from us.
This establishment is so unprofessional! They give you the runaround, reschedule last minute constantly. They talk bad about each other and play the blame game. They don’t care about their patients and would let you die if it was in their hands. In fact, if you wait to see a doctor here, you will for sure die before you’re seen. Good luck getting records and they talk crap to patients. Are they a medical establishment or guests on the Jerry Springer show? Who is hiring these people?!
Dr Cannon is really off putting and makes you feel like you’re a bad person because you seek his help. I pretty much got lectured about how my heart problems are my fault even though it’s genetics and I had my first MI(heart attack) at 23. I’m 33 now with 3 stints and feel bad about scheduling with this clinic. They don’t have any immediate availability and usually schedule you three to six months out at a time.
