The building is close by where I live, easy to get to, and easy to find their office in the building. It's usually pretty quick and easy to reach them via telephone, as well. However, there is one receptionist - whose name I didn't think to get - who's extremely rude and has interrupted me several times while I was asking a question or was giving her information on something (as I have needed to reach out recently to seek workplace accommodations due to my diabetes). I tried to book an appointment with Dr. Fernandez, whom I found through my in-network directory and saw had excellent reviews. I was seeking care from an endocrinologist because I have concerns about hormones and metabolism. However, my experience with the receptionist was very disappointing. She kept pressing me for the reason I wanted to see the doctor, and when I explained my concerns, she rudely stated that the doctor only handles diabetic cases and does not accept new patients. THE WORST ENDO PRACTICE Sent me for the same panel test 3 months before seeing me. When I finally saw the doctor and asked why we need 3 months worth of tests before the visit, he just smiled and admitted that their system crashed and they lost most of the records. After visit it was impossible to get a prescription refill as they never sent it to the pharmacy despite numerous attempts from me (leaving VM) and the pharmacists. Finally got one. I arrived 15 minutes late to my appointment after driving for 2 hours and finding that various streets had been blocked. I googled the phone number to find the address and was taken to a location a couple blocks down the road. I called the office to confirm the location and told them I would be right over. Once I arrived they said they couldn't see me because I was 15 minutes late and they had a strict 10 minute policy.
