I picked up my copy of Mountain Xpress from a rack in the Jackson County public library in Sylva and read it that evening over dinner. I couldn't resist the current cover about converting mini Japanese imports as I'm driving a van myself though it's four or five times larger. Please don't hold the full-time staff of Mountain Xpress responsible for the misinformation in the piece "Controversial Choices". They didn't know they were being misled. The title implies it will be fair and balanced but it really isn't. The outside, non-realistic writer tried to suggest that taxpayers are not paying for the Pratt and Whitney deal.
