We were sent to Mountain West from our current vet because they would not see our dog without notice and who was having a medical emergency. So we needed to drive 20 more min to them. I called them on the way and they told us to pull into the emergency parking and they would be right out with a gurney. Our dog passed on the way there. We were, needless to say, very distraught. I can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we walked in, everything was smooth and efficient—the wait times were incredibly quick, which made a stressful situation so much easier. My dog had to undergo surgery, and the care they provided was truly top-notch. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat, and that made all the difference for me. I own a dog training facility in Orem and we occasionally have issues with dogs that require emergency services. I've also had multiple emergency situations with personal dogs. In the past 18 years of our being in business it's been very hit or miss with emergency vets in Utah county. Mountain West has been consistently helpful, very friendly and understanding staff. I've yet to feel like I'm over paying or being pushed into unnecessary services. Very friendly knowledgeable staff that I would highly recommend!
my cat had an emergency paw incident at 3 am on Saturday night. I called and brought her in, and Molly was well taken care of and fixed up. her doctor was Sabrina Wu, who did fantastic and obviously cared a lot about Molly's wellbeing (she scolded me for her small carrier size, but it was deserved. molly now has a good size carrier haha). don't hesitate to bring your loved ones here for emergency help. you are in great hands.
