Avoid Mountain West Anesthesiology at all costs. Their billing department is a complete scam. They claim they “sent” invoices, but I never received a single piece of communication from them—not a call, not a letter, not an email. Instead, the first time I heard from them was years later when I was served by a law firm demanding payment, stacked with interest, legal fees, and attorney costs. Please, medical care providers DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are impossible to deal with as a patient and customer. After nine months of calling, arguing, proving, mailing, emailing, faxing, etc, I finally received MY MONEY from these crooks. They have no local number, their phone number goes to an overseas call center, and you can never speak to anyone who can help. A very bad experience. We have paid for a bill twice and have to pay a penalty for liquidated damages. When we went back to the original hospital to ask the nurse, the nurse could only shake her head and there was no solution! I receive a bill every day and every week. It’s a very terrible experience.
