I went by their Castro St location yesterday and discovered that the shop was entirely emptied out. The sign in the window indicates that they’re still in business online, but the physical storefront is closed. When I’ve visited in the past, I’ve found it to be full of interesting art and tea ware, and a wide selection of quality teas. I’m a little sad they don’t have a physical presence anymore.
May well be the best tea store in the entire Bay Area. Great selection, very knowledgeable staff, very friendly people. I've been buying tea here for 15+ years.
