My husband went in for knee surgery last week. After general anesthesia was administered and they started, they realized the scope they needed was not sanitized. The surgeon had to stop surgery and come out to explain situation to me. Debating cancelling the case, waking him up and sanitizing the scope and putting him under again. This is by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had dealing with a hospital. I have had to set up payment plans multiple times with the surgery center after my procedure because they keep having issues with their billing system. After over 4 months of back-and-forth providing payment information multiple times, they sent me to collections without drafting a single payment.
