I had a solar installation performed by a local provider in 2022. However this past year that provider went out of business another casualty of inane policy at the national level. Then I had a failure of my SMA Sunny boy inverter. I contacted a number of providers and only MTV solar would make a maintenance call. The inverter was still under warranty and they replaced it free of charge. They also configured its internet portal ( which the original installer insisted it didn’t have) . We had MTV install a 10Kw system with a Tesla3 backup battery. Installation went very smoothly and every employee we dealt with was as friendly and helpful as can be. If you're interested in Solar I high recommend giving MTV a call
We've been using MTV since 2012 and now have 48 panels and a powerwall 3 battery. The service has been outstanding, particularly from Mike Studholme who has personally been to our home to discuss installations and to guide us through the battery setup and app use. I would recommend them to any homeowner.
MTV Solar did a fantastic job with our solar installation. We had learned about the net metering changes going into effect in 2025 so we were in a rush to get it done by the end of 2024. We contacted MTV right before Christmas 2024 to start the process. Stuart apologized for the time crunch although it was not his fault at all. I wanted to install solar on my home in West Virginia...researched the two major companies that do so and selected Mountain View Solar. Installed a 10kW system along with 2 Tesla Powerwall 3 batteries and an EV charger. System was recently commissioned and is working well.
