I have tried to make an appointment for my diagnostic exam for months, both in person (they don’t do appointments in person!) and by phone, following the voicemail instructions to leave my information and they will get back to me within 24 hours. I’ve left 3 or 4 messages now. I tried to call the regular screening number and didn’t get voicemail, but they told me I need to call the other number. I am going to try another clinic. My health apparently isn’t important to them.

Definitely OVERPRICED! 3-4x cost of what you will pay anywhere at other Bay Area facilities for CT scans and MRIs! (You can check your insurance website for cost estimates for all) For example, for MRI CPT 73721, it costs $1503, whereas others in the same location cost around $475. Even with Aetna plan with 10% co-insurance, you will pay around $150 here vs around $50 out-of-pocket somewhere else! 😢 Learnt the hard way! Such disappointing pricing to add hassle of getting it done somewhere else!

I was scheduled for a mammogram today, however, last Friday was left a message from the Radiology Dept. that “due to the room being down”, I would need to reschedule. I called to reschedule my appointment this morning, Monday and subsequently had to schedule my appointment on Dec. 1st. I was told that Santa Clara would be opening October and that I should call back to try to schedule an appointment there, but I could not schedule an appointment today for a future appointment in October. This does not make sense to me.

Sutter health should just close this location, fire the referral and appointment staff, they are super unprofessional. Don't waste your time and energy here. My doctor sent them a referral for diagnostic mammogram, I called them and left my information, they never called back. My doctor's office is very kind and they offered to make an appointment for me, they were told that a doctor needs to take a look at the referral to make sure nothing is missing, call again one or 2 days later. I called to book an ultrasound and, based on the reviews here, I was surprised they actually answered after about 10 min. Turns out it was radiology and I was transferred. Nobody picked up and I left a message with my details as instructed, this was two weeks ago and I still haven’t heard back. In the meantime I got my ultrasound done at a different clinic. My family doctor is at this location and she is amazing and I’ve had good experiences with the other departments here, not sure what is going on with the imaging center. ... read more
