Lovethehospital I'm really picky about my veterinarian. I want someone who loves animals. I want someone who will listen to me and treat me like an intelligent human being. And I want a vet who has common sense and who can treat my pet without necessarily running up a monster bill. The receptionist, vet tech and doctor were all very friendly, knowledgeable and treated our dogs like thier own. Dr. Ormond took the time to answer all of my questions and the personalized welcome card we received in the mail a week later made us feel like Mtn View appreciates our business and cares enough to say thank you! The facility was clean, neat and organized. The offered our dogs treats upon arrival and the vet tech was so sweet to hold them and get the exam process going while I filled out paperwork. Very Happy Customer I have been a longstanding client of both Mountain View Animal Hospital and Dr. Maloney. Frankly I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns and approaches their care with a systematic diligence and common sense. I don't always want to spend a lot of money, but I do want to always know what all the options are, and I require honesty. I have always gotten this from Dr. Maloney and his staff are a delight! I couldn't be happier with this hospital.
Stay Away! I have taken my animals there for almost 30 years. In the last 6 or 7 years the clinic has been deteriorating, both in medical care and in customer care. My friend had her little yorkie spayed by one of their vets. She left her their for 4 days after the sx. When she picked her up, she had dried feces on her, she smelled like urine, and she acted like she was in a lot of pain. We did not experience what the other reviewer did. Hi, my husband and I have taken both our cats to Mountain View Animal Hospital. Each time they've received the best knowledgeable and compassionate care that we also have ever experienced at a vet. Dr. Maloney, the other doctors, and staff are the best! We just took Poofy (our kitty) to him yesterday (11/24/08) and he used equipment to look inside her eye that we have never seen been used before to rule out a scratched cornea.
