Perfect place to stay
My family recently stayed at Mountain Thunder Lodge in Breckenridge and it was amazing! The location was perfect for what we were needing. It was at the base of the mountain, at the end of 4 o’clock run, and the entrance to the underpass to the gondola. This provided an easy ride back to our lodge from the mountain for lunch and at the end of the day, and a perfect spot so we could walk to Main Street never needing to move our car from the garage. 2-21-25 no hot water. 2-22-25 no hot water. Arrived at 9pm, staff knowingly gave us room with no hot water for shower, that we paid full price on. Manager off all weekend, how bout that. Besides that- good location- poorly ran resort.
The kitchen was nicely stocked, I appreciated the hosts supplies of humidifiers and fans as well as a stocked toiletries and kitchen supplies. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Right across the street from the gondola. Didn't give stars for service bec we didn't receive any.
