This retreat is simply amazing. Location is wonderful, the house is impeccable. The detail and attention paid by the owners is nothing short of incredible. The wood work and stone work...just epic. If you're having an event, this is the place!!!

Most amazing place to get married and the staff who manages the property is amazing! The gardener did every small detail we asked (down to pulling out weeds in the rain) and if I had any questions they were on top of it! This was the best weekend of my life, thanks to everyone at Mountain Shadows Retreat!
I have had the privilege of playing here a few times for weddings. The property is absolutely beautiful. The house is designed perfect for entertaining. A well equipped kitchen, comfortable and stylish relaxing areas featuring fireplaces and integrated sound system, and many more on site amenities. Firepit, guest house to name a few. The sweeping views at this place take it over the top. Wedding, retreat, or otherwise you would be challenged to find a better venue. I hope to be back many times again.

5/28/16 had our most perfect wedding at The Shadows. Our guest were very impressed with the unique venue with stunning views of the Foresthill divide canyon. We stayed there a total of 4 luxurious nights in the home, all the amenities were top of the line. The beds were extremely comfortable from the mattress and the high quality linens and pillows.
