My boyfriend and I went here to get our first pair of running shoes. We went in not really knowing what to look for and the person working up front was super helpful! He gave us some great recommendations and helped us find the right size! I would highly recommend this store to anyone in the area looking for a new pair of running/hiking shoes. We will definitely be back!
Joe was fantastic. Listened to my needs for walking/running shoes and made a few recommendations. Helped with proper fit and was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Very pleasant shopping experience. Highly recommend.
Thanks for the great service. I contacted the Boone store couple days ago from Pennsylvania to learn if Topo Mt. Racer 3 shoes were in stock. A guy called back within a couple minutes with confirmation that the shoes were in the store (could have been CB ?). Good work. Good service. I have not been to Boone, NC since Helene (I tried to help), but hope to get back soon. I definitely recommend Mountain Running Company.
Fantastic inventory of top shelf running apparel, shoes, and equipment for road and trail. All of the staff are former or current collegiate runners, many with coaching experience or exercise related graduate education. All of the staff that I have encountered are highly knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to.
