great compost
Very disappointed in mushroom prices. One would think if you go to the source you'll get a great deal, but I was wrong! Way above and beyond retail values compared to the general market. One would think that they would give close to wholesale prices since locals are picking up from their location, but no, exact opposite. Literally every retailer B2C in San Diego County sells $1-$2 less per pound (depending on variety) than these guys. Otherwise forget it, this place is only good for mulch/compost, that's about it.
Totally disappointed with the compost. Got 20 yards and it had lots of trash including a syringe.
Free compost. ... course compost, great as an additive or mixed with a fine compost
