Update - Jan. 2025 - I now have three children who all attend Mountain Martial Arts. My kids are 9, 6, and 4y old, and it feels like catching up with family every time I go. Master Mountain and Mrs. Mountain are the kindest, most nurturing people, and my kids feel safe going to martial arts. My 9y old (who was 4 at the time of my previous review) has grown and matured and has worked so hard under Master Mountain’s instruction, guidance, and support. The Mountain Center recently offered my Girl Scout troop of first graders an intro martial arts lesson with an emphasis on age appropriate self defense skills and it was a great success. Mr. and Mrs. Mountain were so good with the girls and instructed them in an engaging way that allowed for them to have a ton of fun while learning useful skills.
