Update - Jan. 2025 - I now have three children who all attend Mountain Martial Arts. My kids are 9, 6, and 4y old, and it feels like catching up with family every time I go. Master Mountain and Mrs. Mountain are the kindest, most nurturing people, and my kids feel safe going to martial arts. My 9y old (who was 4 at the time of my previous review) has grown and matured and has worked so hard under Master Mountain’s instruction, guidance, and support. The Mountain Center recently offered my Girl Scout troop of first graders an intro martial arts lesson with an emphasis on age appropriate self defense skills and it was a great success. Mr. and Mrs. Mountain were so good with the girls and instructed them in an engaging way that allowed for them to have a ton of fun while learning useful skills. Honestly, 4.9 stars on nearly 50 reviews is underrated. The Mountains are incredible with their students. My 8 year old daughter has been in their program for about three years. Master Mountain’s lessons are not limited to the physical art. He encourages discipline, respect and focus by giving advice to young inspiring minds. We are so impressed with his life lessons and leadership. We can easily see how valuable their curriculum is for our oldest so we decided to enroll our 3 and 6 year old girls as well.
