Fantastic place for breakfast in Georgetown. The service and food were excellent. Best biscuits and gravy I have had in a long time.
Delicious sandwiches and the chicken soup I still dream about. I typically don't order soup because I make my own, but their soup has mine beat! Service was friendly and they are SERIOUSLY busy for lunch. We initially arrived looking for decaf Americanos and were directed to a neighborhood coffee shop around the corner. The sandwiches we saw while we were there looked so good we returned for lunch! It did not disappoint and I returned the next day for a to go lunch. Staff were fantastic. We wandered in after our train ride and all the restaurants were of packed. 5 minute wait. While we waited another group swooped in and took the table that had just been cleared off for us. They claimed they waited for the table, but had just walked in, and no one was buying it. At this point they were closing up a little early becuase they were out of food after a super busy morning. Stopped in about 2pm on a Thursday. Place didn't seem busy. My husband and I stood at the "wait to be seated" sign. Two staff were at the counter, so we figured we'd be seen to momentarily. After five minutes of no acknowledgement - not a "be with you in a minute," or even a brief moment of eye contact - we left. 🤷♀️ I understand short staffing or getting busy with something.
