Found this place by chance and is now a favorite. Their food is so fresh, healthy, and delicious. Husband had the banh mi and I had the Yaki salad. The crispy tofu, micro greens, sweet snap peas, timers rice were divine. The banh mi on their fresh baguette and a side of cucumbers was also so good! Looking forward to our next visit to Truckee. Tip: take your food and eat outside on the back patio.
Great atmosphere. Helpful staff. I had the Yaki bowl with tofu. Absolutely delicious. HOWEVER, the staff should give a warning on the fiber content of the meal. Almost had an accident but found a restroom in time. You have been warned.
My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner with Mountain Lotus Cafe and it was perfect. The logic was that we love the venue for yoga and have gone there for ages...but the gift was that the event was perfect! The vibe was chill (perfect for the 5 kiddos we had with us), the food was extraordinary (that you, Chef Rich!), and the logistics were - without a doubt - the easiest part of the wedding planning process.
