It's hard for me to rate Mt. Laurel, because I had the tale of two stories. On one hand, the facility is great. It's clean, surrounded by beautiful scenery, and conducive to recovery. The therapists are mostly above average, and a few were among the best I have. Most of the groups were engaging. I was in the Eberle building, and it was one of the best experiences I had in a rehab. Great place to stay for your recovery.
My son actually overdosed while he stayed there. He is currently unconscious in the hospital right now. I called to speak to higher up people to see how and why this happened. How were they so lazy about their meds laying around that he could just grab and take his knows what. Of course no one wanted to speak with me. So they can talk to the news and lawyers. Don't go here or send anyone you live here. They leave unconscious in an ambulance. End up in ICU on death's door. Way to go helping!!! You did so much!!!
I have family in this program. I was told to come pick him up, drove three hours after work. Exhausted. When I pull up, there were police EVERYWHERE. A heavy man with a beard and a name tag, honestly looked like a cop himself until I noticed he looked HIGH, figured he was a patient at that point, asked why I was there and I asked which his response was "we don't know that person, you can leave now. this is a restricted facility" I said, if it's so restricted, why are there police crawling the place?
