My family and I stayed at Blue Mountain Lodge for four nights. The cabin was beautiful, with plenty of room. The amenities were very nice. Close enough to everything you want to see, and away and quiet when it's time to settle down for the evening. The views of the surrounding mountains were fabulous. We even had wild life visitors. Would highly recommend the facility and Mountain Laurel.

This cabin needs major work to make it acceptable. Have reported several issues with cabin on several occasions and nothing gets fixed. The downstairs bathroom vent does not work properly and sounds like it is going to blow up when turned on and the bathroom trim job looks awful and not finished. The main gutter overflows when it rains and pours out on the deck and collects water that attracts mosquitoes, also reported down spout doesn’t work and has not been fixed. This was a great rental property. Comfortable furnishings and located close enough to Gatlinburg for convenience but far enough away to avoid the congestion. Easy communication with the owners too. There is a neighborhood bear but that's just part of going to the Smokies. Respect their space and they'll respect yours.

Labor Day weekend of 2026, I planned on taking my girlfriend to the Smokies on her very first time there, but more importantly to celebrate her 40th birthday. We both had a blast while there, and it brought back alot of memories for me going on family vacations there as a kid. It was so thrilling to see her happy and enjoying everything with the experience of it all for the first time.
