We had a great time on our visit this week! The cabin was clean and lovely. Of course the view was amazing. We were visited by several bears and one jumped right in our truck while we were airing it out. He jumped right out when we yelled. I think our driveway was part of their daily tour. Didn’t use the hot tub since there was a set of stairs the bears could wander up. A gate there might help. Overall it was an amazing experience and we came home with tons of great pictures and really great stories!!!!
We chose MLC after seeing other positive reviews online and weren't disappointed. This was our third stay in the Smokies and the best cabin rental experience by far. We stayed at Grand Ole Mountain House with a group of three adults and three kids. The house was cleaner than the average hotel/rental, and as described. Host communication was clear and timely. We enthusiastically recommend MLC and would stay at this property again.

Loved our stay at Wood fern lodge. This property is very nice and is well equipped with everything you need. The view is beautiful and the cabin is secluded, clean and well maintained. Beds were very comfortable. We were celebrating a birthday and the three generations of our family were all very happy here. We have rented from Mountain Laurel Chalets many times over the years and will certainly continue to consider them in the future.
This place is beautiful! Perfect cabin vibes with great amenities. It was clean and comfortable and we spent a ton of time on the back porch looking over the creek hearing the running water and watching out for animals. Hot tub was clean and ran great. It’s the best location, not up the mountain and not a scary drive and close enough to walk to the main strip for sight seeing. We’ll be back!
