A clearly aged property, but didn't experience any egregiously gross or unreasonable issues. But there are issues like random holes in our unit's door to the hallway that, in theory, someone could use to peer into our unit, clearly visible repairs to the flashing on the outdoor balcony walls, and fairly poor insulation on the sliding door to the point where I could feel gusts of wind when putting a hand close to the door frame. The room I stayed in was very old school but had charm. The plumbing was questionable. The water would spurt out of the kitchen faucet in bursts the dishwasher didnt work. Maybe it's because they're doing large scale renovations on the whole building? There was no room service as it was an air bnb type scenario. There was a stereo with a cd player and cassette player. Certainly a blast from the past but of minimal use now a days. Overall was fairly quiet but if people were making noise you'd hear it. The location is great. I... read more
