Unfortunately a large oak tree on our property was diseased and had to be removed. Mountain Enterprises was contracted by PG&E to do the removal, and did a nice job. Branches were chipped and firewood was left. They even leaf blew the driveway before they left. The crew was friendly and respectful.
They are here every week cutting more trees down for PGE. Last week the trees were fine. This week, they suddenly need to be taken down. It's maddening. We came here for the trees and Mountain is cutting them all down. All while PGE is converting to underground lines. In five years there won't be any trees left.
I hired this company to cut down several trees on my property. In my 18 years of hiring company's off and on as a homeowner, I was beyond impressed. This company's bid was reasonable, and was notified shortly of my scheduled date. They arrived right on time and as the work progressed, not only was their crew was methodical and safe but polite and highly professional, doing over and above what they were asked to do. If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. First I got a flyer from core stating they would be doing some trimming for pge for the power lines 3 weeks ago. I work out of town all week so I come home and 2 medium size oak trees have been cut down completely in my pasture where I have livestock by the way horses, cows, and goats with the only access in being a locked gate not with a pad lock but it's secured with chains and heavy screw together caribeaners. I was really impressed by their team yesterday. They got an incredible amount done in one day and were able to remove the large logs a previous crew dumped in the creek bed. Thank you!
