Overall the initial impression was quite good, staff were friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. Lobby and hallways clean, with a welcoming, New England Lodge feel that was quite appropriate for the setting. The room was generally well appointed. I was surprised at the condition of the window treatments, with large holes and some mechanisms that did not work. Staff advised they were in the process of purchasing new ones. Nice suites for family stays. Good options at the breakfast that's included. The pool was a nice addition when it was open.
Beautiful and spacious! Heck a place to stay if you are skiing at Mount Sunapee - 3 minutes away! You will be amazed at these accomodations!
Had a wonderful stay here. Very conveniently located a 5 min drive to the Sunapee ski resort , this was a warm , efficiently run hotel with all the right conveniences. The staff were super hospitable. The included breakfast hit the spot and the Salt Hill pub and Shanty across the street , made it super easy to grab a quick bite. Also a highlight was taking a short (3 mile) drive to the Blue Canoe for an awesome meal! The hot tub , sauna and two mini pools were ideal to relax after a day on the slopes. I cannot say enough good things about the General Manager Katerina Tourville. When checking in we had a mix up on our room. She went ABOVE & BEYOND to get us into the room we thought we had booked, the one with an oven. She truly cares about the guests! She saved our Thanksgiving stay and dinner. Thank you again, we truly appreciated all that you did for us :) This was our second time staying here; it is clean, roomy enough for our whole family, has a nice breakfast with lots of options, a pool for the kids and the most help... read more
