I'm surprised with the negative reviews on here. I know they have been understaffed for a couple years with Covid - due to no one wanting to work. I've been a patient of Dr. Lane's for six years (since 2017). Before I was a patient at Mtn Diabetes, I was at another Diabetic/Endocrinologist office in Asheville that I was not very pleased with due to lack of knowledge with late onset Type 1 Diabetes. I have been a patient of Dr. Wendy Lane for 9 years. I have never felt so dismissed as a patient. My labs were never stable and my dosing was always changing despite my attempts to discuss other treatment options for my thyroid. Finally during my last phone appointment in Jan.2022 I demanded we at least trying Synthroid instead of Levothyroxine and to have my records transferred elsewhere. My daughter was treated extremely poorly by the doctor. He was dismissive, unwilling to listen, didn’t bother with the most current lab work…She came home crying and feeling she was shamed and he treated her with disrespect and a total lack of care and compassion and professionalism.
