I called three different times between 3:00 in the afternoon and 3:45. After going through all the prompts I was on hold for over 10 minutes and no one ever came to the phone. I have been traveling to Johnson City for the last 20 years for Medical Care at the VA and thought it would be nice to try the local clinic I wish I could say I was not surprised with the lack of service.

I have been trying to get a prescription for contacts filled since March. I have contacted community care, the eye clinic, and the prosthetic departments. Each person I have spoken too were empathetic and left messages for people who were supposed to be able to help. Here is is mid September and I have no answers or help. The knoxville eye department doesn't even attempt to answer the phone, their voice mail just ask you to leave a message and they will get back with you. With an excellent office crew, clean, modern, and welcoming setting and most importantly a very professional, patient centered clinical staff, this clinic deserves more than 5 stars. I am so grateful to have access to this high level of care.
