We had been out camping in the area and unfortunately, our dog injured himself by doing some kind of jump with a twist. As it resulted in him dragging a rear leg, it was quite scary. It required a vet visit while we were out of town and we had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Nathan Bernadet. He assessed the injury, gave a painkiller with muscle relaxant and did a thorough exam with x-rays. This was the only vet opened on Sunday in Canmore and my dog started limping yesterday and I called to see if they could take me in (I had never been there before). They didn't have a spot so the lady said I could take an appointment for the next day and if my dog was better (which apparently happens) then I wouldn't have to come in. I took the appointment just in case because I was worried for my dog. Throughout our stay in Canada (10 months) the team at mountain animal hospital have helped with every strict requirement needed to fly our dog back home to Australia. Big shout to Courtney, Dr Nathan and the rest of the team! Always fitting us in, catering to our needs and making any little fussy adjusts required for Aus strict entry. Would have been a nightmare otherwise. Hank always loved his visits there, highly recommend them :)
Mountain Animal Hospital is a very accomodating veterinary clinic with exceptional staff and services. They are/were always willing to accomodate and help out with my pets needs! My puppy always looks forward to visiting the clinic and saying hello to the team!
