I attended a very moving Tisha B’Av community service by candlelight. David Shlay’s lamentations reading was moving. Very nice.
I love the Mount Zion community. Our clergy are incredible prayer leaders and teachers, and our services and Torah study are moving, powerful and life giving. Mount Zion enriches me every time I go there. I feel welcomed and accepted and included. The music and chanting within the service always moves me and lifts me and connects me to the source of life. I am incredibly grateful to get to be a part of this community.
It’s not just a Temple, it’s my family. I appreciate the strong emphasis on Social justice framed in the teachings of Judaism.
