Wonderful, comfortable, stylish. Felt at home immediately. The view is unbelievable and the surrounds are unspoilt. We were going to stay one night only, on a trip down the west coast, but decided to say two. It was a great decision. I wish it was longer. The owners have been very thoughtful in the way this beautiful property has been put together. Would definitely stay again, but longer. Definitely recommend the outside bath with a glass of Pinot!
We came for the outdoor bathtub and were struck by the perfection of this place . You can feel the love and dedication the owner has put into every detail. It’s beautifully furnished, with absolutely everything you need to cook. Plus, the view from the bedroom is outstanding. A pure gem for a romantic weekend. Thank you so much
Like a home away from home, but with everything that you only get in Tassie. This isn't your average holiday house, it feels more like you are looking after someone else's home while they are on holidays (not that you'd ever want to leave this place). Lovely garden, outdoor bath with amazing views of the sky at night, not to mention the view right in front of you. Full kitchen with oven and a very nice bathroom including a washer and dryer. We stayed here for 3 nights in December. This is an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very private with panoramic rural and ocean views all the way to Cape Grim. This place feels like home and the attention to detail and provisions are outstanding.
Just wow. It starts with the location and views across rolling green hills to Green Point Beach. Then, a cabin which is luxuriously appointed, takes advantage of the outlook with everything you would need. Top that off with hosts that can't do enough to make your stay just perfect. I rarely do reviews, but want to shout this one far and wide. Will recommend Mount View to all our friends.
