I am a current resident of Mount Vernon Apartments, my family has been here going on 4 years. During my time here I have had a few challenges. Every challenge was met with respect, patience, understanding and care. I received support not only from the office staff but from the maintenance staff. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate and solve every challenge that has taken place. No matter the size of the challenge they made sure there was some type of solution. I have been living in Mt Vernon Apartment since 2007 and I will tell this is the best place to live. Anything negative here is just what happens to every Apartment. My only problem is the water bill but I also think of how safe it is to live here.The maintenance guys are the most respectful guys I have ever met. My next problem that i don't blame the staff is my inability to get a ground floor due to severe back pain either than that nothing will move me out from the complex.
I lived in Mount Vernon Apartments as a child in the '90s, and recently, I visited with my son to share a piece of my childhood with him. I wanted to capture a photo of him swinging on the same swings I once did, but to my dismay, the complex is now in a state of disrepair. The playgrounds are rundown and far from kid-friendly. My heart sank when my son said, "Mommy, you brought me to a playground that's broken, from a tornado." I don’t recommend this apartment for anyone,the apartment building by cheap things so all broken after 2month living specially the ace woow is not worth ever free not paying,all laundry is not working we use outside to washing clothes,playground was so dirty and not working properly need more work on it they don’t care even
