if i could rate this apartment i would rate it a 0/5 the office lady unprofessional and has the worst attitude and has nothing better to do but be miserable, maintenance can barely change a light bulb they just hire anyone, there’s no point of security if your car got broken into twice and the office doesn’t respond to any of the claims overall just a terrible experience here might as well just close these down.

I am a current resident of Mount Vernon Apartments, my family has been here going on 4 years. During my time here I have had a few challenges. Every challenge was met with respect, patience, understanding and care. I received support not only from the office staff but from the maintenance staff. They have gone above and beyond to accommodate and solve every challenge that has taken place. No matter the size of the challenge they made sure there was some type of solution. I have been living in Mt Vernon Apartment since 2007 and I will tell this is the best place to live. Anything negative here is just what happens to every Apartment. My only problem is the water bill but I also think of how safe it is to live here.The maintenance guys are the most respectful guys I have ever met. My next problem that i don't blame the staff is my inability to get a ground floor due to severe back pain either than that nothing will move me out from the complex.

I lived in Mount Vernon Apartments as a child in the '90s, and recently, I visited with my son to share a piece of my childhood with him. I wanted to capture a photo of him swinging on the same swings I once did, but to my dismay, the complex is now in a state of disrepair. The playgrounds are rundown and far from kid-friendly. My heart sank when my son said, "Mommy, you brought me to a playground that's broken, from a tornado."
