Best place I have ever been. My humble opinion that they actually care!!!!!
I am proud to say I have over 1 year sobriety thanks in large to the institute. I came in broken barely able to walk & no doubt a few months away from death. The kindness & patience of the staff was incredible because we are hardly at our best & a little crazy as we go through detox. Through it all the counselors & staff stood by me By the time I left I looked & started feeling like a different person. Detox wasn’t the best. Didn’t have Intravenous IVs from the start. All you do is groups that had no purpose to the effect and everyone talking over each other with no control. Therapist were terrible didn’t talk to one once. food was insanely terrible for the price you’re paying. I would recommend you spending a little more money after your insurance covers it. Personally I’d go to Connecticut, Michigan or Arizona where you’re treated like a human being while going through the process. It felt like a prison/jail. no gym, no ... read more
Admission is thru the ER. I wanted to walk into the bathroom with my bag to have a beer. I withdrawal terribly, and it's only alcohol that calms my panic attacks. This was before I was given any benzodiazepines. Well Security knows from the past that I drink just to stay and wait for detox. So Security interceded with 5 men, wrestled me, tackled me to the the ground. I said forget it I don't want detox I just want to leave(right then).
