As a former smoker I've been part of the Lung Screening Program at Mt Sinai for almost twenty years. As a result, I've had to go to one of the two radiology units at Mt. Sinai, usually the one on Madison Ave. once a year for a low dose CT w/o contrast. Even though the waiting room has always been full, I've found the people at the Check-In Desk to be friendly at best and businesslike at worst. Waiting over an hour for an appointment…
Worst experience I've had in a long time! Tremendous lack of communication. My appointment was at 10am and I'm still waiting at 12:14pm. This is for a scheduled MRI with Radiology, this can be expected with emergency dept but not Radiology. Save yourself the stress and find a better place!
