My review is about the radiology department for a CT scan. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time and was the first person on site. Check in was fast and I was optimistic but 1.5 hours later, I was finally taken to the back where I had to sit even longer. Lev was a phenomenal PA, so friendly warm and communicative. I wish everyone was like him. This place is just unorganized and they offer no communication to patients throughout the process so you know why you're sitting around for no reason. When I first got to this hospital, I was in room 202, I forgot what unit that was but the nurses and the PCA’s over there were so delightful. They made me not want to leave the hospital. Janice, Melissa, Emma, they were amazing over there. They deserve a raise. I was transferred over to unit J in which I had to deal with Rude and nasty people. One star for the wonderful receptionist who helped us check in. Technician Darius had absolute white man toxic masculinity energy who 1) tried to scare my partner with the syringe and his lack of experience with an MRI 2) told me “He’s a big boy” and did not let me accompany him despite patient consent.
