Called to inquire about becoming a new patient, was answered by an insanely impolite individual who spoke with such an irritated tone and hung up on me after rudely telling me my insurance wasn't accepted. As a med student, I am appalled how Mt. Sinai manages to to hire such rude people. This is a medical setting, do better.
After moving and dealing with doctors in another state I have to come back and give this doctor a review to show my appreciation. Quick. Efficient. You could tell that they truly know what they're talking about and cared about their patients. Billing was always correct and I never had to deal with my insurance to get things corrected. I never had a long wait. They were easy to contact and their portal system was great. Everyone was also so kind. If I didn't have to move I would still be coming here. Incredibly efficient and warm. From doctor to nurses to staff to security, have been impressed with how the system runs in such an integrated and fast-paced manner.
Once upon a time, this place had better people working. Workers smiled once you arrived. Today, mount sinai decided to hire people who are less compassionate, and have leadership like Dr. Nina Priven a Director who is subjective and does not pay attention to the information is given to her. She instead is protecting her turf by disagreeing with the complainer. Wow, not objective at all.
