I bought a pumpkin bar soap in Sep '25, thinking surely my bar from fall '24 will finally wear down... but here we in Jan '26 and it's still going. Used every day at least once, and my kid has started using it too the past few months. Still lathers up really well and smells great! Beyond their hand soaps, they sell the only solid shampoo that's ever been able to recover my kid's hair after a Y pool trip as well as make my long+thick hair manageable. I live in Florida, but whenever I'm in Baltimore to see my daughters I stop here to get gifts for everyone. Being extremely sensitive to smells, I so appreciate their commitment to natural ingredients. I can't recommend this establishment highly enough - stop in if you get a chance.
Mount Royal has the most OUTSTANDING SOAP that I have ever used! I am a loyal customer for life. I first found them in November 2024 when I was exploring Lexington Market. The “Alpine For You” and “Good God Lemon” immediately caught my attention. Both my parter and I loved the way the soaps smelled, lathered, and made our skin feel super soft and moisturized. I love walking in this store - everything smells so nice and they are always great! Perfect place to stop in if you need a more unique/personalized gift. I was just in for the stickers this time (they have a nice collection w/ some Baltimore/MD themed ones). If they are still there, try the caramels by the register - delicious and buttery soft!
The Best soap shop out there! I am so glad I found this place the lady working is always so sweet and nice! My favorite are their face wash and moisturizer and the hair bars! I have trouble with certain products on my skin and their face products are the best! The hair bars are AMAZING! Definitely worth the drive to shop in store! The shop is so cute! Forever a customer
