I stayed at the hotel in summer 2023 and regretted never writing a review. My daughters and I had the most amazing time here. The room we had was so thoughtfully planned and had adorable decor. A large utility like sink in the main living area next to a large counter was ideal for making hiking lunches and cleaning up after hiking. There were plenty of hooks to hang up our backpacks, jackets, and hiking gear. We loved breakfast with an amazing view. The staff was fantastic as well. It was so sad to see in person the results of the Jasper Fire. This was a hotel in stayed in a few times in the past.

Terrible service. We were not impressed with the service. The rooms were below par. Room smelled bad. It felt like the previous guest had smoked in the room. We complained to the front desk about the smell, but they just sort of shrugged it off and nobody came to clean the room. Overall just a bad experience. The only silver lining was the breakfast. The staff at breakfast was nice. We checked out after one night and went to a different hotel.
