The office never called to notify me of my diagnosis. I only found out because my test results were posted on the Patient Portal. I was prescribed medication without notification, and without any follow-up to discuss whether the medication was working, diet modifications, short term treatment plan with the medication, long term treatment plan to prevent recurrence, etc. I am forced to interact with a PA through reception. If I could give a zero for review I would.In May my husband was almost comatose. The local hospital diagnosed him as having a type of lymes disease. He was admitted to the small hospital and treated with Doxycycline. He improved dramatically but it left him with Pancytopenia, his blood counts for red cells, White cells & Platelets were critically low. This place is ABSOLUTELY awful! Miss Alyssa Sebastianelli neglects her patients, and then the office manager Lori helps shove the patients out the door. I met with Alyssa one time, and she was only fixated on whether I had Crohn’s disease or not. She ordered testing that I stated I already had done in the past, ordered testing that didn’t need ordered based on a colonoscopy and EGD, ordered testing KNOWING my insurance wouldn’t cover, and then never followed up with me. Laboratory testing determined at an abnormal number of Bacteroides Fragilis bacteria were present. My symptoms were consistent with this finding. Typically, this type of infection is treated with antibiotics. After some delay in getting the referral to Mount Nittany Gastroenterology I had a one month wait for an appointment.
