Would give zero if I could. Refused a follow up appt after a hospital visit, they don't care about their patients. They only care about money.
Just for telling the doctor I have a pain in my foot during my routine annual physical exam slammed me with a $166 bill, just for telling the doctor that I have pain in my foot? Oh my god, never faced anything like this. The doctor did not provide anything nor suggested any medication. I have no idea why am I charged $166 only for sharing my foot pain? Absolutely ridiculous.
I had a lot of medical anxiety when I first moved to State College. And while I still get anxious, I am much more comfortable visiting after all of the great care I have received here. Dr. Hackenberg, Dr. Shuman, and PA-C Mattern have really listened to me and given me the best care during every visit. I can't thank them enough for all of their help. We have been with MNPG for over ten years since we moved to SC and had both children delivered at MNMc. However, the care and service are noticeably declining over the years we've been their clients. In our most recent experience with them, the doctor recommended an x-ray, which was not necessary. We had concerns about the cost and the doctor assured us that it's not a problem if you have insurance. Then we were billed about $500 after insurance coverage before Christmas. I have never in my life encountered more over priced care. I will be finding new doctors ASAP, because I can't afford to go back to these ones.
