Be careful with the road, not really for an everyday car but ok if you go slow. Hope you don't come across someone coming the other way, only room for one vehicle. I stopped at the lookout which was very interesting. It appears to be the remnant of the lava core of a volcano. Very interesting indeed.
Wonderful place. Absolutely no facilities and barely a path to walk on. It was fantastic if you like to rough it a bit. The views were amazing from this volcanic peak. The walk was steep in places so you need tone daily fit. We will have an episode up on Explornations on YouTube in July if you are interested.

What a gem of a discovery, we found this as we were driving from one town to another, the ancient lava tubes were awesome!
