Terrible and stressful experience. My 3 year old cat Oreo stopped eating and drinking last week and after two urgent care visits, his doctor recommended we go to an ER for an ultrasound - I chose this one. At the ER he was diagnosed with ileus and given medications including a single dose of Reglan/metoclopramide. I took him home with no oral metoclopramide doses given by the doctor. Hopefully the amount of care they will give your pet is better than the care and concern they will have for you as the pets owner. Please pack your patience and take a book or other such distraction as they will leave you sitting for hours with no communication. And don't ever think they will pick up the phone if you call. So, my cat got sick a few months ago. I took him to a emergency vet to make sure he didn't have a blockage. He didn't have a blockage, so they recommended I got a urine and blood test which costed about 2,000$ altogether. I then talked to my friends that are experienced with having sick cats, and they told me he probably just needed clavamox. Well the vet tried getting me to do x-rays next. I then got my mom to speak to the vet and she talked her into just giving us a script for clavamox. Of course that is all he needed... read more
Recently purchased 3 guinea pigs. Took them in for a wellness check. Called in first and made an appointment. Quoted a price for all 3 pigs. When appointment was completed charged almost $300 for a wellness visit! Insane!!! Will not be returning!!!
