I was a patient here for 5 years after my GP moved practice. The doctors and nurses here have always been great. However the reception team is another story and have often been rude, dismissive, disinterested and unhelpful. As my GP now retired, my medical file received was not complete, so I rang the practice to be met again with the same attitude. I put up with it whilst my amazing long-term GP was there, but no longer. The era of treating people rudely is really over - there is no excuse.
Looking for a new GP after moving to the area, and so happy to have found this clinic. Very attentive and efficient, and being able to get a blood test on site was a bonus.
My family and I have been attending Mount Hawthorn Family Practice for a few years now and we are consistently please with the knowledge and the professionalism of the GP's and Nurse (Anita). Every time we attend we feel as though the medical team go above and beyond 'basic' appointments which has meant that we often recommend the GP's to our friends. Thankyou MHFP!
The doctors here are amazing, I loved seeing Dr Annabel Carvosso, she really listened and cared about a holistic approach to treatment Unfortunately the reception staff are simply just rude and make you feel like your wasting there time, even for the simplest of questions. They made me feel unappreciated and talked to me with a level of disgust that no one should have to deal with. Ill be seeking another clinic moving forward.
My husband, two boys and I all go to Mount Hawthorn Family Practice and we love it. We see Dr Hayden and Dr Kelly- who are extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring- but have also seen most other doctors and had a great experience with them as well. We also love Nurse Anita who is always professional and very caring. This practice has a lovely community feel and I know that we will be well taken care of and given thoughtful advice when we go.
