The doctor was excellent overall couldn't ask for a better doctors surgery
I have some complex health issues that need specialist care and I was worried about finding a surgery in the area since moving. It seems like reviews all over the Southside are poor for Doctor Surgeries. Then again, most people will only leave reviews to complain so this needs to be taken with a pinch of salt sometimes. Doctors are lovely and helpful. The receptionists however can be unnecessarily rude and short. I understand that the job can be a lot of pressure and that they might be dealing with people who are not kind, but I always treat them respect and in return they make me feel spoken down to. Absolutely no need for that, especially in the line of work they are in. People call in with all sort of problems so showing patience and understanding is a basic necessity.
Lovely doctors , but horrible horrible reception staff. I wouldn't wish bad on anyone , but the manager needs to get new staff l. I hope the trust members see this and take action
Dr Stout denied to do a blood tests I asked for ascertaining that it would be impossible for it to be positive for me. He suggested my issues were due to stress. Turns out the tests was positive but I only found out years later. This led to permanent and serious damage to my health. I should also note here that I visited him as a desperate 22 year old. I asked him what else could explain my symptoms and he just wouldn't be helpful at all. Didn't even suggest asking someone more appropriate for help.
