I am not sure why so many negative reviews about Mt Druitt Emergency Department. Went to Emergency Department yesterday for a small surgery. All the nurses and doctors were so nice. There is some delay but not like other hospitals like you have to wait for 4 to 9 hours. We all can reduce this time if we went there for emergency purpose only. For small matters I suggest people to go to their GP instead going to emergency Department. Thanks

We went to the emergency for my little girl on Easter morning ：（ Waited for 10 mins only. we are so grateful to Nurse Jade for her professional, friendly, and compassionate care. She was not only gentle and attentive with our baby, but also considerate and supportive to us as parents. Her kindness and calm presence truly made a difference during a stressful time. Thank you, Jade!

The staff is rude especially the triage nurses they don’t know how to speak with the patients, very unprofessional behaviour.

I don’t understand all the negative reviews. I had a lovely experience, from start to finish. Everyone from the admissions clerk, down to the doctors & nurses, were all lovely & accommodating. I went in yesterday (25/02/2025) just before midday, and was seen by the triage nurse almost immediately. From there I was taken into one of their ED rooms & had a team of nurses & doctors assess me immediately. I’m truly grateful to the team at Mt Druitt hospital (specifically in the E/D). P.S: They have an $8 flat rate parking fee
