We were at the Emergency from 2pm to 12pm. I went there for my mum who had wheezing. The nurses especially the male nurses at that time were so disconnected. The Dr informed my mum would be given a puffer in 20mins and no one turned up for an hr. We have to keep reminding them that we are around. One nurse did not know the instructions other nurse had given. Understand it be busy but I guess they aren’t dealing with patients responsibly.
Very bad service I ask when is our turn and the person says I don’t care

I am not sure why so many negative reviews about Mt Druitt Emergency Department. Went to Emergency Department yesterday for a small surgery. All the nurses and doctors were so nice. There is some delay but not like other hospitals like you have to wait for 4 to 9 hours. We all can reduce this time if we went there for emergency purpose only. For small matters I suggest people to go to their GP instead going to emergency Department. Thanks
