I visited the Emergency Department at Mt Druitt Hospital with my 4-year-old son. Although his condition was not life-threatening, it still required timely attention. The emergency department is just pathetic. Patients keep on waiting for hours and hours. They check the new patients who keep coming and the one who are sitting for the prescription for hours are neglected. It takes just 3min to write a prescription once you have already checked the patient. Better to wait at home so the patient can take rest. Only one dr is on duty for kids.
