A great "add on" that is included with the admission to Fort Ticonderoga in which they give you a coin to open the gate & allow access to drive up to the lookout on top which overlooks the Fort & Lake Champlain below. Bring a picnic, some binoculars, hike around & learn more about the history of the area!
Great view of Fort Ticonderoga. Went in the fall, the scenery was beautiful.
It has been free for years. Now $10 to go up the mountain.
