One of the best hikes in Kaputar NP. The walk is only 4km however it is quite a climb at the end. I suggest to loop clockwise as it will take you up the summit quicker, and this way you will pass the well marked section of the trail while going up. After the summit, you will descend slightly to the lower cliff, where you will hug the cliff wall all the way until you see the stairs. There will be many false tracks going downhill along this section, however do not follow them and remember to always stick to the cliff.
This is a nice medium walk of 4km. It’s quite a climb up, including a few set of stairs. Nice views and very scenic up top. To circle back down to the base (if you went to the summit first then passed Coryah’s gap, you have to hug the cliff wall. The track is a bit overgrown at this area with funny false tracks leading away from the rock face (do not go down that way!).
