Updated Review: Waited a long time to get into neuro after the Dr. Okonkwo situation. Had an appointment with a new dr for June 2, several months out from this (soonest I could get in) since we would be a new patient kind of. Even though we were not new to the system they told us in order to get in to see a different Dr.. Dr. O, would have to agree to transfer care, etc. My mom had no more refills of her Parkinson’s med which we need. Our previous neurologist retired so we were forced to switch doctors. I am power of attorney for my mom who lives with me and I am also a nurse- so I have knowledge of the health industry and how things work. My mom has been through a lot these last few months with no real answers. We got a new diagnosis this last week that explained one issue which was important and related to Neuro specifically. That doctor (with the new diagnosis) is not part of Mt. Carmel and therefore they do not have those notes in their system to read... read more
I have been to so many neurologists over the last decade that I lost count (or even rough estimate.) This is by far the best place I've ever been to. Wonderful and polite staff and, my Doc is the Man! Chandos for the win.
