Impossible to get an appointment when you are sick. I called two separate times and could not be seen within 48 hours so I had to go to urgent care and wait over 2 hrs to see a doctor. And then, I sent a message to my NP 4 days ago because the symptoms have lasted over two weeks, and I have not received a reply. Pathetic care for patients who carry insurance that costs $2,000 a month.
I had an appointment for an annual visit where the doctor asked if I wanted refills. I said yes and nausea meds because I will be traveling soon. Apparently answering her was a whole appointment where the charged me an additional $250 on top of the $350 they billed my insurance. None of this was discussed during the appointment or was notified there was an additional charge or how much until I received the bill. I had fever for 3 days and made an appointment today. But this place send me back without let me see any doctor because they think MCHS is not in my network. However, I called the OhioHealthy and our HR manager, both told me MCHS is in-networking. Both Ohio Healthy and our HR manager will call them to see what is going on.
