The nicest staff you could ask for. Was being helped by nurses and a doctor within 5 minutes of arriving. Just the nicest staff I have ever dealt with at the ER. Billing and Insurance staff member was super nice and helpful. I would prefer to not need the ER again, but if I do this is where I’ll go for sure.

I came to Mount Carmel ER for a broken collarbone because urgent care sent me there, but instead of care I was met with suspicion. At one point 6+ employees came into my room together, staring at me and questioning me in a way that felt like an interrogation, asking why I was there and who told me to come. This approach was intimidating and completely unnecessary. I was in pain, vulnerable, and looking for help, not to be made to feel like I was lying or suspicious.. I have no complaints about wait times; there are none. The staff was friendly and personable. However, if you are uninsured, go elsewhere. I was charged $4,500 for a short visit, which is excessive, and my problem was not resolved. I had to go to the OSU Wexner ER the next day, where I was charged half that amount and my issue was resolved.
