Great service, will definitely be back. Took a punt on coming here to stock up on some steel for some hobby diy projects. Everything I was after was cut up and I was out the door in about 20 mins. Not my closest steel supplier but was well worth the trip up the freeway compared to what I'd been quoted in town. And certainly better value for money than if I'd visited a certain big green Warehouse!

Wonderful customer service 👏 Reece helped me out today with cutting a few pieces of steel posts. He was most helpful and friendly. Today, 5 Jan 2026, it was Mark who helped me out with enlarging a hole in a bull bar mount so it wld fit a particular size screw. He was polite kind and most helpful 🙏🙂.

Got a steel tray order the other day. People are very easy to get stuff done and polite nice people. Replied relatively quick to emails, the only issue is that one of the bits i got cut was meant to be 1600mm and they cut it at 1595mm therefore i had to put a 5mm plate in it to close the gap which was definitely not an easy mistake to make. Aside from that, very good experience with Mt Barker Steel.

Had a great experience working with these guys. They designed a great carport/shed for me, were receptive to amendments to make it fit our needs exactly, and created a fantastic space for us that really enhances the property. They communicated well throughout the process, and they put together a great installation team. Really happy with the outcome. From their office staff to the installers, a great bunch to work with.
