They ignored a suspicious mammogram for weeks because no provider bothered to look at the imaging (that has been done at their center) and then when I called after the two weeks I had been instructed to wait, I was told they did not have prior imaging, but in fact they had received high level imagining within 24 hours of the appointment (which I eventually confirmed from both the sending and receiving institutions) and it had just been sitting there ignored. Drove 2 hours to be seen. Was 10 minutes late due to traffic. I only live about 10 miles north. Was denied by the provided to be seen and treated. Don’t waste your time, go to winchester or lahey, this would never happen there.
Beautiful baby boy born July 11, around 6 AM water broke no time for epidural but that didn't matter because the nurses and doctors around me were encouraging me and supporting me in every way possible I felt cared for and actually seen a couple laps right after giving birth too. Mommy of three now!!!!
TL;DR: Midwives are good, office administration is not - expect last minute appointment cancellations and long hold times on the phone. I've been a patient of Mount Auburn Center for Women for my pregnancy care, through the Midwives practice. I have nearly all good things to say about the midwives themselves - they seem to be knowledgeable and caring professionals.
